Shape Cats

What are two things every man or woman needs in their life? You guessed it, shapes and cats. Put those together and you get "Shape Cats," a science art project for grade 1. At first I was jelous of the students shapecats because they were better than the example one I made to show. But that jelousy went away because the creativity in the students was awesome. Nobody's shape cat was the same and even more importantly, nobody's shape cat was the same as the example I showed the students. I had a bunch of little independant thinkers and you can't ask for much more than that!

Thanks for the picture of the artwork. It sounds like quite the dandy little lesson you did there. Thanks for your great signing today too. Your enthusiasm is contagious and always appreciated (by me at least for sure)!

LOL, shapecats, that's priceless! Kids love shapes, kids love cats, put them together and you get an unstoppable combination! I'm so trying this if I ever get to teach Grade 1 again!
